Empower Yourself: Resizing Your Web Pages

We believe that using code on a web page to resize text for users with visual challenges, (not always a workable solution), does not empower the individual user to learn new skills on their computer.

Therefore, as part of our Independent Living Skills Program, here are the operating system-specific methods you can quickly resize your web pages easily:

WINDOWS (any browser): While holding down the CNTRL key,

1. enlarge the window by pressing the + key, or
2. reduce the window by pressing the - key, or
3. go back to the default size by pressing the 0 (zero) key.

MACS (any browser): While holding down the COMMAND key,

1. enlarge the window by pressing the + key, or
2. reduce the window by pressing the - key, or
3. go back to the default size by pressing the 0 (zero) key.
